My name is Luke Fonkalsrud and I am in my 4th and final year at the Australian Catholic University, studying a Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts (Secondary) Humanities.
This site has been created as an essential component of the EDFD427 unit- Transition to the Profession, and is a space where I will document my experiences throughout my final practicum during Term 3.
Over the course of the internship, five blogs will be developed demonstrating:
1. A reflection on the June Sessions.
2. Two separate critical reflections on two different experiences during the practicum.
3. Reflection on professional teaching practice with reference to the NSW Institute of Teachers Professional Teaching Standards.
4. Reflection on the role of parents/caregivers in assisting students' education, and a final reflection on my teaching experiences throughout the practicum.
